About
Our Story
As mechanical engineers, it is only natural to have a fascination with the mechanics of sewing. From the sewing machine operation to the garment construction, our passion for making clothes has grown into an obsession. Our goal is to promote sustainable clothing and inspire people to start sewing on their own.

Our process starts at the thrift store. Here we find vintage textiles and abandoned sewing machines. With 11.3 million tons of textile waste produced by Americans each year (https://earth.org/statistics-about-fast-fashion-waste/) it is our goal to repurpose and reuse existing materials. None of our pieces are made from new fabrics. All clothing is made in our home, by hand, by us. Of course, there are several challenges associated with working with old and used materials, but the final products are constructed with intent of being worn and washed for a long time.
